I will need to also put together video of that flickering but for now here is the log with performance dump. However I have noticed random flickering with textures. I havent noticed stuttering so far but I havent played a lot lately.

If the graph on the right side is coloured in violet the GPU is thermal throttling. Well I do not think it should be happening in the hangar in the first place but that is my opinion since this is very uncomfortable to watch and function within it. Install GPUz Run GPUz Make sure that the correct GPU is selected (bottom left) Navigate to the Sensors tab Scroll down and locate the PerfCap Reason sensor (Performance Cap) If you mouseover PerfCap Reason you will see possible causes for performance cap. So there does not seem to be a perfect setting / setup - and this hardcoded framelimiter cannot be disabled either. switching on vsync usually 'fixes' this stuttering but it will ofc also limit the fps in battles. Players with disabled vsync (and maybe players with Freesync / Gsync) have been reporting this kind of 'stuttering' usually theįps in the hangar is (way) lower than in actual battles, test drives / flights and benchmarks due to this as well.

Trying to limit the fps while the gpu is trying to push more fps - i don't exactly know what it is (i just call it framelimiter)īut a few years back the devs implemetented something to lower the gpu usage in the hangar (only !!!). the internal (hardcoded) 'framelimiter' is If this is happening in the hangar only you should not worry too much.
